The Senior Warden is the second-highest elected officer and the principal assistant to the Worshipful Master. He is responsible for helping govern the lodge, supporting its officers, and ensuring harmony and proper conduct among the brethren.

He also prepares to advance to Worshipful Master, making the role both one of leadership and mentorship within the lodge.
